Dr. Carol Loi

Dr. Carol brings over 25 years of invaluable experience as a registered nurse and is a Health Services Expert specialising in nursing, genetic counselling, caregiver training, and medical concierge services for international patients. As a dedicated trainer and adult educator, she empowers individuals, including caregivers, with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. Additionally, she has begun to delve into curriculum development, working on creating educational programs and materials that cater to diverse learning needs. Carol is dedicated to honing her skills and crafting effective learning resources that facilitate knowledge acquisition and retention.


Dr. Carol’s exceptional contributions have earned her prestigious accolades, including the Service Quality Heart Award Winner and the Singapore Health Quality Service Award (Silver) from Singapore General Hospital. She is also the recipient of the 10-Year Long Service Volunteer Award, the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Award, and the National HealthTech Challenge ‘Beat Anxiety’ Award at the National Health IT Summit 2018.

Dr. Carol’s academic journey is adorned with achievements. She holds a PhD from the National University of Singapore, a Master of Science in Health Care Management from the University of Wales, and a Graduate Diploma in Genetic Counselling from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Professionally, she is certified in both WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP) and WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA).
