Home-based Nasogastric (NG)/Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) Tube Feeding Training for Caregivers

By the end of this course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of the purpose, anatomy, and indications for nasogastric (NGT) and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) care. They will be equipped to demonstrate correct procedures for NGT insertion, maintenance, and feeding, as well as perform routine care and maintenance of PEG tubes, including cleaning and dressing changes.

Participants will also develop the ability to identify potential complications, implement appropriate preventive or corrective actions, and educate patients and caregivers on safe feeding practices and tube care. This ensures that they can provide effective, safe, and compassionate care for individuals requiring NGT or PEG support.
